As a medical rehabilitation doctor with a specialization in children, I am often referred by pediatricians to treat patients with special needs. I was very happy when I successfully treated a pediatric patient with a diagnosis of ASD, who initially had difficulty controlling emotions and did not understand instructions, now they can understand many things and can communicate functionally. This of course cannot be separated from the role of parents who are very cooperative and support therapy.
